My New Do

My cousin called me the other day and said, "You wanna cut your hair?" It was an interesting question, so I said, "Why do you ask?" She knew someone who was testing out of beauty school and needed a "model" to do a "complete transformation" on. Ironically, two weeks prior to this I was telling my cousin-in-law, about how one day I would totally change my look, and may get a crazy, totally not "me" cut and color. This opportunity was right up my alley. A change in the 4 year old hairstyle, for FREE! YES! Good bye good old pony tail!
I first called Marshall because I knew he would hate this idea, but I needed to gage how much he hated it. I would say it was a 6 on the 10 scale. He'll get over it! I promptly began telling everyone I saw. My biggest fear was not that I would get a bad cut, but that people would think I was going through a mid-life crisis or something. I thought it would be so drastic of a change everyone would wonder if something was wrong with me. As it turns out, the style is super cute and not at all extreme. I love it, but was slightly dissapointed I didn't come out with a pixie cut and Callie's hair color with a huge Pink streak! Maybe next time! Consider yourself warned!
"Old Me"
"New Me"

I took these pictures myself. It's my reflection in the mirror. Interesting to see me doing this. I had the camera at my hip. Can't really see the color, but it's pretty much my same hair color with two tones of warm blonde highlights. The back is chopped up shorter, so it angles down to the front.

Looks great! Very stylish and "in"! By the way, I think I still like blogging better than facebook.
